Morven Cottage
Morven Cottage is a two bedroom holiday cottage within 5 minutes walk of Keswick town centre with private parking and an outdoor patio area.
The warm and comfortable accommodation sleeps up to four guests (plus a cot) and was recently extensively refurbished. Downstairs features a heated porch, a spacious living and dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs are two bedrooms: a double bedroom adjacent to a large bathroom with both shower and bath facilities, and a twin room with an ensuite toilet. Both bedrooms and the living room provide views of the local fells (Skiddaw, Latrigg and Blencathra).
The cottage has modern energy efficient gas central heating, unlimited hot water, and is fully double glazed. Free wireless internet access is available throughout. All towels and bed linen (except for the cot) are supplied and all heating costs are included.
Outside is an enclosed patio and garden area with chairs, Lake District slate benches and a table.
The cottage has its own gated drive with two private off-road parking spaces and is located in a quiet residential area. Within walking distance are parks, the cinema, the theatre, shops, pubs and eateries. A wide variety of scenic walks are possible from the doorstep, Derwentwater Lake being only 10 minutes walk away.
Changeover days are usually Monday and Friday but we also accept shorter breaks of 3-4 nights. One or two well-behaved dogs (restricted to downstairs and not allowed on the furniture) are welcome. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
